Day on the EDGE 101

Ever wish you had VIP access to all the happenings on 2nd Saturday? Or perhaps you've heard about the new THIS 2nd Saturday Block Party starting on June 8 and want to attend? Or maybe you just wish you could attend an awesome party where your cover charge benefited a deserving local charity? Well you’re in luck, because Metro EDGE is granting all three of these wishes with this year’s Day on the EDGE: VIP Access benefiting the Sacramento Children’s Home! Join fellow EDGE members and Sacramentans in celebrating the independent spirit of Midtown through food, drink, live music and activities at this not-to-be-missed event.

You may even want to leave your business cards at home for this one - activities include water games to keep you cool while it’s hot. Live music acts include Planet Booty, Deastro, Aaron Axelsen and more.

And if you want to donate a little more toward a good cause, spare a square and donate to United Way California Capital Region's Toilet Paper Drive to benefit the Sacramento Children's Home. As an added bonus, if you bring a pack of TP, you’ll get an extra entry into the drawing highlighted below.

Some of the EDGEclusive VIP prizes for this June 8 event include:

  • One entry into drawing for Yosemite Vacation Get-Away package valued at over $700
  • Access to the Day on the EDGE VIP area offering seating, complementary beverages, and finger foods catered by blackbird kitchen + bar
