F.A.M.E. – Taylor Toledo

Have you met your 2018 Leadership Council yet? Faces of Metro EDGE (FAME, for short) is the perfect way to do it! Here we introduce you to your leaders for the year and give you a glimpse of their professional life and personalities. Reach out and say hi!

Where do you currently work, how long have you been there, what do you do?

I am an Account Manager with 3fold Communications. I help oversee marketing efforts for clients in the education, government and healthcare industries, collaborating with some of the movers and shakers in our region and beyond. I’ve only been in my current role for a few months but am loving being a part of a group that positively impacts the community and constantly challenges me to step out of my comfort zone and think even bigger-- It's a fun experience!

Prior to that?

Prior to my time with 3fold Communications, I worked in marketing for a local design firm where I specialized in creating blogs and online content and social media marketing. From there, I took my efforts in-house, freelancing and consulting from the comfort of a favorite coffee shop.

What is your educational background?

I received my Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco. I had some really awesome professors who had great real-world experience that taught me all about the roll-up-your-sleeves, hardworking side of business. Forever thankful for #FIDM.

What is the best part of your job?

I really love learning from the best. Our team is a group of creatives, strategists and out-of-the-box thinkers, and it's always exciting getting into a room and brainstorming the next big idea for one of our clients. There is also a ping-pong table, which never hurts.

What do you love about living in Sacramento?

I've only recently begun calling Sacramento my home, as I moved in here in 2015. However its charm, potential for growth and friendly people have made me fall in love. However, I think I've most loved all of the amazing food!

What is one thing that might surprise people about you?

I love writing. In addition to being an account manager, I contribute to blogs and publications about professional development and navigating growth as a 20-something in the marketing field.

When you aren't in the office, where can we find you?

Perched at a restaurant with wine and a cheeseboard with some of my favorite people. Or burning the midnight oil because of a deadline I forgot was on my calendar-- Whoops!
