UC Davis Aggie Square: A Deep Dive into Project Developments

If you’ve heard the news around Aggie Square, you may have wondered “What are the actual details and why should I tune in to this topic as a young leader in Sacramento? Will Aggie Square affect me, my work, my community, and Sacramento at large?”

A Refresher on Aggie Square: 

Aggie Square is a development project on UC Davis’ Sacramento campus set within the Oak Park community. This innovation hub will be home to research programs, private industry partners, classrooms, student housing, and public-facing programs that engage local communities and entrepreneurs. The project is the result of a joint exploratory working group established by Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg and UC Davis Chancellor Gary May. The first phase of construction is scheduled to begin in 2021. 

At this virtual event, you can expect to:
