Immersion Day 2020- Part II

We’re excited to take one of Sacramento’s best hands-on education experiences bigger and better than ever!

This year, we’ll be taking the original Immersion Day experience into 3 (mini) Immersion Days. As the name suggests, this is a day where EDGErs immerse themselves in a particular regional topic and get to hear from key executives from the industry or initiative, visiting important sites related to the theme for a hands-on understanding of the topic. In past years, attendees walk away with improved clarification of what systems and mechanisms need to be in place to achieve a better Sacramento. This year and moving forward, we’re defining that as a Sacramento that inclusively celebrates our diversity and creates a sense of belonging for everyone.

This year, Immersion Day will be a three-day, three-part, all virtual series of panels featuring experts discussing how their community-centered work fits into the region’s aspirations to be a great place for anyone to live and thrive. Make sure to mark the times below in your calendars!
