EDGE Issue Immersion Day :: Homelessness in Sacramento – EDGEucate Yourself

Issue Immersion Day is a new program Metro EDGE developed this year, and we're keeping our focus on homelessness in Sacramento. EDGErs are encouraged to attend Issue Immersion Day on Tuesday, November 15th to learn more about the issues affecting the region and explore opportunities to improve the issue through education and advocacy. Come listen to speakers on the causes of homelessness, current resources and efforts, and ways YOU can get more involved!

  • Tickets are $35 for early bird registration, members only. Early bird tickets are on sale today through October 23rd at 5pm. After the early bird deadline, tickets for members will increase to $45 and non-members to $55. Tickets will be on sale day of for $55 for members and $65 for non-members.
  • Registration begins at 12pm at City Hall. Lunch by Plates Cafe and Catering should be picked up by 12:30pm while attendees listen to a panel of selected speakers on policy, financing, strategies, and advocacy opportunities.
  • We will be visiting sites like Loaves & Fishes and Women's Empowerment to tour and learn more about ways EDGErs can get involved.
  • Issue Immersion Day ends at 5:30pm, Segwaying into November's In-The-Mix at Ruhstaller Brewing Company (open to all EDGE members and guests, please register here).
