The 2015 Emerge Summit hosted Young Professionals from the Greater Sacramento Region. Metro Edge is currently seeking applications for breakout sessions for our 2016 Summit. Selected breakout session organizations will have the opportunity to provide focused professional development to our attendees. We are seeking organizations with a topic, speaker, or unique presentation method for reaching our YPs themed around creating change and/or disrupting the status quo. To be considered as a breakout session provider for 2016, please respond to the questions below no later than end of day 11/30/15.
Breakout Session organizations will be responsible for securing a venue within walking distance of Memorial Auditorium (1515 J St, Sacramento) and should prepare for approximately 25-40 participants per breakout session. Breakout Session organizations will also need to secure a $2,000 sponsorship for their session, $400 of which is payable to Metro EDGE. The remainder of the sponsorship may be used for venue / food / collateral costs with any funds leftover going directly to the breakout session organization.
