What is your educational background? I have an MA in Public Administration from University of San Francisco and a BA in Communications Studies from CSU Sacramento.
What is the best part of your job? Working with all the great people that help make Midtown Sacramento what it is and what it could be. The businesses, property owners and residents genuinely care about Midtown and actively contribute to the projects I work on. It’s this collaborative process that is both inspiring and also allows my work to evolve in many ways.
What do you love about living here? I love the mixed-use environment Midtown Sacramento has to offer. I love that I can walk to work, visit the Midtown Bazaar, sneak a peak at the newest boutique, catch a live comedy show or dine in a five star restaurant – all within a seven-block radius. It says a lot about what we have to offer.
What is one thing that might surprise people about you? I’m a shutterbug. I absolutely love photography. I almost received a BA in Photography, but then quickly changed my major after interning in the field and realizing I was likely to end up shooting weddings and senior portraits, as opposed to flying around the world with National Geographic.
When you aren't in the office where can we find you? 9 times out of 10, you will find me at MARRS. I can spend hours in Newsbeat perusing their periodicals and Peet’s has the best coffee, hands down. It’s pretty cool that there’s free wireless available there too. I usually park a seat on the MARRS patio, catch up on my social media and people watch
