Where do you currently work, how long have you been there, what do you do?
I currently work in the Development Office as a Development Associate at Sacramento State. I assist multiple Development Directors with opportunities that develop, maintain and enhance philanthropic support for the University. I have been employed by Sacramento State since May, 2012.

Prior to that?
Prior to working for Sacramento State, I was an event coordinator for the American Heart Association in Sacramento. I was in charge of the logistics for the San Joaquin Heart Walk, the Stanislaus Heart Walk and the Stockton Go Red for Women Luncheon.

What is your educational background?
I graduated in 2009 from Oklahoma City University with a bachelor’s degree in Dance Management, which is an arts management degree with a focus in dance. I am currently enrolled in the Masters of Education: Higher Education Leadership program at Sacramento State.

What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is meeting and interacting with alumni and supporters of Sacramento State.

What do you love about living here?
I love the fact that in less than 2 hours I can drive to Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Napa or somewhere off the coast.

What is one thing that might surprise people about you?
I used to want to be a professional tap dancer.

When you aren't in the office where can we find you?
You can find me eating in one of the many downtown restaurants, wine tasting, hiking a trail, taking a dance class or reading a good book on my front porch.
