2016 Immediate Past Chair

As a transplant Sacramenton and a local Drexel University administrator, I love this region and all it’s six counties and twenty-two cities. It’s a great time to be a young professional in region. The Sacramento region is quickly becoming the think-tank/incubator of new and innovative ideas and members of Metro Edge are at the forefront of this regional movement. Much like my hometown of Portland, Oregon; Sacramento is actively investing in its arts, food, entertainment and educational institutions, which are key indicators in an advancing and thriving community. Sacramento has finally begun to offers many great opportunities for young professionals to take part in this regional change and development and I love being a part of this NEW transformation.

I joined Metro Edge because I believe in the mission and vision of the organization. Metro Edge brings together likeminded individuals who are committed to supporting leadership and positive change in the Sacramento region. As an action- based organization that gets things done in the region, Metro Edge encourages fellowship, civic involvement, and innovation. With the support of Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce and other regional leaders and organizations, Metro Edge and its members are positioned to excel in the region.
