Kara Johnson

As a Southern California transplant, Kara Johnson has enjoyed using her role as a Community Engagement Coordinator with SAFE Credit Union to form relationships within Sacramento. Actively seeking out new opportunities to interact with nonprofits and volunteer organizations, she has been an active EDGE member since moving to Sacramento in 2015. Kara brings a unique approach to her endeavors using her eclectic background in early childhood development, sales and event coordination. Her recent accomplishments include recognition as a top performer in the workplace and first place in a speech competition celebrating financial education. She enjoys using her artistic abilities to add a piece of herself to everything she does. Her hobbies include a musical ability, spending time with family and indulging in local theatre.
