John Otto
Professional Development Committee Chair
A member of Metro EDGE since 2011, John joined the Professional Development Committee in 2012 and now serves as the committee’s Chair. John was active in helping to spearhead the very popular EDGEucational Forums as well as other various speaking events for Metro EDGE. Working for Otto Construction since 2001, John worked as a Project Engineer before becoming a Marketing Associate in 2010. A family owned business in its 3rd generation, Otto Construction has offices in Sacramento and Monterey. John also serves on Sacramento Zoo Board of Directors, Society for Marketing Professionals (SMPS), Real Estate and Construction Networking (RECON) and is a member of the Eskaton Swing-for-Seniors Committee. John graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications in 2001. When not in the office you can find him enjoying his love of the outdoors snow skiing, hiking, biking, and camping, traveling around the world or visiting new sporting venues across the country.
