Metro EDGE Chair

A Nor Cal native, I joined Metro Edge in 2011 to meet new people, develop professional skills and increase my awareness of all the great things Sacramento has to offer. I was involved with the Regional Action Committee for three years before moving in to the co­chair seat. After graduating with a  bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri, Columbia, I became a freelance writer and editor, reporting from England, India and the good ‘ol US of A. I moved back to Sacramento after a few years because I missed the great weather, awesome food scene, Tahoe winters and summers on the river. I was previously the editor in chief at Comstock’s, our region’s premier business magazine, and now I'm the communications director at the fabulous Crocker Art Museum. I live in West Sac (the best Sac) with my main squeeze and our furry kids. I enjoy Zuda yoga, weekend getaways, local food, craft beer and skiing Squaw.
