Anne Descalzo maintains a co-existing love for motherhood and her career! She is wife to her loving husband, John, and mother to two energetic children: Owen and Hazel and AVP of Community Banking to her team at SAFE Credit Union. Anne resides in the foothills, and in her precious free time enjoys the tranquility of being outdoors - hiking, listening to podcasts, and working on her fixer upper home. Her passion lies in sharing the value of financial wellness and serving her community. In her current role, she provides strategic oversight of SAFE’s extensive community involvement, the SAFE@ Work program - which combats financial distraction and provides wellness benefits to employees around the region, and Financial Education programs for adults and youth.

She has been a Metro EDGE member since 2014, serving as a committee member, co-chair and chair of the previously named Philanthropy Committee and serving on the executive committee for EDGE in 2017 & 2018 as 2nd Vice Chair and Vice Chair. Anne also serves on the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce board, graduated from Leadership Sacramento, class of 2015 and serves on the Folsom Chamber of Commerce board, under the Greater Folsom Partnership. In 2011, she received her BA from Sacramento State in Journalism, with a minor in Business. She was named 40 Under 40 by the Sacramento Business Journal, in 2018.

Anne is an advocate for professional development and a ready workforce, and takes the honor of serving as the 2019 Metro EDGE Chair to heart! 2019 marks a commemorative year for EDGE, celebrating 10 wonderful years of programming.
