Client Service Specialist – Job Duties

Intake New Clients

  • Participate in or perform client intake meetings for new roles, leading the client through a consulting-focused step by step discovery process
  • Write job description ad slicks using Firm proprietary methods

Handoff Intake to Recruiter

  • Lead kick off meetings with recruiter(s) and coordinator to knowledge transfer about client needs for specific roles in order for recruiter to begin active work (sourcing & screening) on the role

Ongoing Client Management / Project Management

  • Follow up with clients about outstanding items (ie: candidate presents, deliverables and feedback)
  • Check in with clients to proactively provide status updates about the status of their projects and deliverables
  • Check in with client on the candidate first day, for first day check in
  • Monthly check in with clients/hiring manager about on candidate placements are going
  • Check in with clients to monitor client satisfaction, ensuring that clients are receiving white glove service at all times
  • Lead initiative for annual client
  • Manage client distribution list for marketing mailers, in collaboration with business coordinator

Internal Workflow

  • Ensure that client files in the ATS system (Crelate) are up to date at all times – the status of the file is current, all candidate tiles are up to date and in the right stages and places in order to effectively provide status updates
  • Maintain awareness of hours incurred on client engagements, collaborating with recruiting team about hours incurred, project planning to ensure client service is provided within budgeted retainer hours

Client Service Specialist – Required Skills, Experience & Capabilities

  • You can work in a fast-paced environment and have a high sense of urgency
  • Prior experience working in a small business environment or start up company
  • Strong email organization skills – you are on top of your inbox and nothing slips through the cracks
  • Project management skills – you work well with a team to keep track of progress and client projects
  • Drive, hunger and desire for growth and making an impact.
  • Prior experience in a recruitment role, human resources role, HR coordinator or consultant role a plus – not required!

We can teach you the ropes if you are whip smart, gritty and passionate.

You will work in our office in Rocklin 2 days a week, 3 days remote/WFH. We are flexible for part-time remote work or a part-time schedule to meet your needs. We offer a 401k plan with company match as well as medical, dental and vision benefit options.

Compensation DOE, base salary plus commission potential based on production. Additional incentive bonuses available for performance or sales contribution.
