Run for the Playground

Meet up with your fellow EDGErs at the corner of H & Alhambra at 8a for team photo-op then join the run to rebuild our beloved McKinley Park playground!

Rebuild McKinley "Run for the Playground", a benefit 5k Run/Walk and Kids' 1/2 mile Fun Run will take place on September 8 with the start line at the McKinley Park Playground and wind through the scenic McKinley Park neighborhood with final half mile in McKinley Park (see course map). The Kids' 1/2 mile Fun Run will take place at 8:15 a.m. and the 5k Run/Walk will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Race Day Registration will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. You can also register in advance online at https://register.bazumedia.com/reg/form?eventID=1754 All proceeds from this event go directly toward rebuilding the playground which was destroyed by arson.
