In 2016, the Mayor of Sacramento's Office of Innovation received a $10 million fund to champion innovation throughout Sacramento's city center by means of leadership training and startup funding, with special interest in teach and entrepreneurship. 

Join Metro EDGE on July 27th as we explore the city of innovation. Hear from Sacramento's Chief Innovation Officer, Louis Stewart, as he gives us a sneak peek of proposed projects coming down the line. Engage in design-thinking breakout sessions led by the folks at the Hacker Lab that encourage conversation and capture our ideas and ideals to help shape the city's innovative future.
