Our speaker, Assistant Vice President Rachel Zillner from SAFE Credit Union, brings a wealth of knowledge on the topic. Rachel’s worked in the banking industry for 17 years, 10 of those years have been with SAFE Credit Union. She’s held positions from personal banker, collections, lending, call center, sales, training, community relations, relationship management, and indirect lending. Rachel is a Sac State graduate, with a bachelor’s degree in general management and an MBA from University of Phoenix with an accounting concentration.

At SAFE, Rachel is a founding member of the Community Banking division, and started the financial education group. She serves as Vice Chair of Metro EDGE, to be chair of EDGE in 2017. Rachel was a 2015 recipient of the Sacramento Business Journal’s 40 under 40 awards and is a graduate of Leadership Sacramento class of 2012.

Rachel’s a mother of two (Paisley and Pepper) and wife of 5 years to David Zillner. And a small business owner, as CEO of Beat the Room, and escape room in Rocklin, CA.
