The Metro EDGE Young Professional of the Year Award recognizes a member of Metro EDGE who has made exceptional and sustained contributions to the Sacramento region and business community.

Meet the 2012 Metro EDGE Young Professional of the Year:

Jordan Blair, Director of Communications, Jesuit High School

Interested in giving back to the community, Jordan has served as President of the Board of Directors for River City Food Bank, Fairytale Town and the USC Alumni Association – Sacramento Chapter and member of the Board of Governors for the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity – Gamma Iota Colony. He is a founding member of the Metro Inspire Project and graduate of the 2012 class of Leadership Sacramento – both programs of the Metro Chamber.

Jordan has developed a reputation as a skilled communicator having previously managed media relations, external relations, publications and website communications for a variety of large state agencies, nonprofits and educational institutions. Previously overseeing all communications, public relations and marketing for Jesuit High School, Jordan now serves as the Vice President of Business Development for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento.
