2017 Leadership Council
Rachel Zillner, 2017 Chair
Assistant Vice-President - Community Banking, SAFE Credit Union
Born and raised in Sacramento, I’ve worked 17 years in the banking industry, currently as AVP Community Banking for SAFE Credit Union. And, I’m a small business owner (Beat the Room) in Rocklin, CA. We are innovators and dogooders, eager to leave our mark on this city now and into the future. Every young professional should take advantage of this opportunity. During my professional career, I’ve worked…

I was involved with the Regional Action Committee for three years before moving in to the cochair seat. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri, Columbia, I became a freelance writer and editor, reporting from England, India and the good ‘ol US of A. I moved back to Sacramento after a few years because I missed the great weather, awesome food scene, Tahoe winters and summers on the river. I was previously the editor in chief at Comstock’s, our region’s premier business magazine, and…
