Catalyst Leadership Program

The Catalyst Leadership Program is a program of the California Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce Foundation (CAPCCF), whose mission is to strengthen underserved, diverse communities through leadership, educational and workforce development programs that target youth and young adults. The objective of the Catalyst Leadership Program is to provide our graduates with opportunities to succeed in their careers, serve on local non-profit boards and public commissions, and be more active in their communities.

As an organization focused on cultivating emerging leaders, we are excited to partner with Metro EDGE and host a breakout session at the second annual Emerge Summit. The goal of our session is to help empower, engage and inspire young professionals to drive growth and change in their careers, and to make an impact in their cites and communities.

“Start-Up Success” will feature Lokesh Sikaria, managing partner at Moneta Ventures. Mr. Sikaria will provide insights on his experience as a successful entrepreneur and business leader in the region, and why it is important for the region to focus on building an ecosystem of successful businesses.

Workshop attendees will receive first-hand advice on the challenges and triumphs of becoming a successful business leader, and the impacts it can have on the local business community. This session relates to the Summit’s overall theme “#OwnIt” because we want to homegrown our own entrepreneurial ecosystem and keep our businesses local.
